Pro Lite has also equipped each rim with a sleeved design as well as tubeless ready technology, making this model ideal for the demands of modern road cycling. Allowing you to benefit from tubeless advantages such as the ability to run lower tyre pressures, you’ll enjoy increased stability, lower rolling resistance and fewer risks of flats or punctures. Another highlight is its Centre Lock disc brake compatibility, which means you’ll have powerful and consistent braking performance when cornering and descending. 6-bolt adaptors are also included, so you have everything you need to complete your next build or upgrade your existing ride.

Alloy Road Bike Wheelset 

A superlight straight pull wheelset for the Centre Lock disc brake standard. You can use the included adaptor on the Centre Lock hub to install a 6-bolt rotor as well. The Bortola uses Pro Lite’s Japanese EZO bearings to give you the smoothest of rides, with low rolling resistance. Using the brand’s patented spoke braces which effectively increase the size of the flange for better power transfer, meaning when you pedal the force created isn’t lost in the wheel and propels you forwards. Pro Lite has also used straight-pull spokes to really keep your power transfer at a maximum.

21mm Profile Tubeless Ready Rims

The sleeved, low-profile alloy rim of the Bortola A21W offers the perfect mix of low weight and strength. High strength-to-weight ratio 6061 alloy keeps the rim light and rotational mass low, for a snappy, featherweight feeling. Pro Lite even made it tubeless-ready, so you can get the most out of this amazing wheelset.

Bortola Hubs

The Bortola hubs are a direct descendent of the acclaimed Bracciano hubs. Light, fast, dependable and easy to work on, This disc brake version comes equipped for Center Lock rotor compatibility and has an adaptor as well to allow ISO type 6-bolt rotors to be fitted. Japanese EZO bearings keep the rolling resistance to a minimum and the straight-pull spokes keep the power transfer at maximum.
